Steve Irvine, a massive human trained under respected coach Dave Hedgecock, was part of the tough Australian heavyweight kickboxing scene that was exploding in the early 90’s. Darren Hedgecock himself had fought world-level competition during the golden era of kickboxing, making Steve part of a serious fighting lineage. Big Bad Ralph, trained by GM Jamal Hassan, remains a mystery to many fight fans today. Some believe this may have been one of his only appearances or possibly a fighter competing later in life.
