To remain popular with audiences while updating their content to a more contemporary product, the WWF targetted the young male demographic. This new movement within the WWF became incredibly popular, generating millions of new wrestling fans and creating a legitimate boom period in sports entertainment that has never been matched. Among the new characters created during this exciting time in wrestling was Val Venis. Coming to the ring saying "Hello Ladies" and remembered for his innuendo laced promos along, Val Venis became one the Attitude Era's first new stars to get a prominent spot on WWF programming.
