Hillsdale College honored Daniel Aaron Wisner as a distinguished alumnus at its 64th Annual Alumni Awards Banquet on Oct. 23. Wisner, of Milan, Mich., is a retired electronics engineer with 15 United States patents to his credit for his inventions. His most notable patents are for an automotive electronic cruise control in 1968 and for the sensor scheme for antilock brakes, which is now mandatory in every U.S. vehicle. Wisner graduated from Hillsdale College in 1955 with a degree in mathematics and physics. He has three chil-dren and seven grandchildren. Among his many accolades, Wisner received the Unisys Achievement Award for Excellence in 1987.

Hillsdale College honored Lloyd Bond (’64) as a distinguished alumnus at its 64th annual Alumni Awards Banquet. Bond is a retired senior scholar with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in Stanford, Calif., and emeritus professor of educational research methodology at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Bond graduated from Hillsdale College in 1964 with a degree in psychology. He has received many honors and awards, including the AERA Presidential Citation for Contributions to Educational Measurement.

Hillsdale Alumnus Will Dunham was awarded the 2015 Graduate of the Last Decade Award for his work as the Executive Director for the Republican Study Committee, , the largest conservative caucus in the House of Representatives. Prior to being named the executive director of the Republican Study Committee, Dunham worked as a senior policy advisor of the organization. In 2015, Forbes magazine recognized Dunham on its “30 under 30” list in the area of public policy. Dunham graduated from Hillsdale College in 2007 with a degree in English. At Hillsdale, he served as president of the Men’s Council, belonged to the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, and worked as a student ambassador. After graduation, Dunham worked as a staff writer for the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. and as a budget associate for Congressman Tom McClintock (R-CA).
