Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Jonathan Haggerty fought twice inside six months, and both fights were for the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title. At ONE Championship: Dreams of Gold on 2 August 2019, Haggerty walked in as champion. Rodtang took the belt from him by decision after five rounds. The rematch came at ONE Championship: A New Tomorrow on 10 January 2020, with Rodtang defending for the first time. This time there were no judges: Rodtang stopped him inside the distance. Haggerty went on to rebuild completely, moving up in weight and becoming a two-division champion. Rodtang held the flyweight Muay Thai crown for years and became the most recognisable Thai fighter of his generation.
