After making a succesful debut, Kurt was placed on WWE TV shows as a regular, proving that Vince McMahon was willing to give Angle a proper chance to shine in the World Wrestling Federation. Over the course of a single year, Kurt Angle was able to achieve more goals than other superstars who had been in the business for decades. Kurt Angle's celebrated Rookie Year in the WWF included a European championship win, an Intercontinental championship win, a King of the Ring tournament victory, and a WWF championship win. Angle held both the European and Intercontinental championships at the same time, making him a "Eurocontinental" champion within the WWF. Along with all of these accomplishments, Kurt Angle became a main event player as he entered into feuds with the likes of The Undertaker, Triple H and The Rock.
