He later founded Half.com, which was acquired by eBay, and helped found anti-spam company TurnTide. In 2004, Josh founded First Round Capital to reinvent seed-stage investing.

The company was built through a 2008 Summer Fellowship at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI), raised over $2 million in capital, reached profitability in 2013 and now has about 60 employees and tens of millions in annual revenue. PaperG's technology creates custom, localized display advertising for clients using logos, photos and online testimonials pulled from across the Internet in a matter of seconds.
