The holiday themed Pay Per View was headlined by the long awaited PPV rematch between Bret Hart and The British Bulldog. This time, however, Bret would defend the WWF championship against his brother-in-law and not the Intercontinental Championship (like SummerSlam 1992). Bret wrote in his book that he had no real plan for how this match would play out until the day of the show, but it ended up turning into a hidden gem. Davey Boy Smith vs Bret Hart is one of the WWF’s best PPV main events of 1995, and it was also featured on an event that got a very low buy-rate. Elsewhere on the show Savio Vega has a meeting with Santa (Xanta) Clause, Triple H battles Henry Godwinn in a Hog Pen match, Razor Ramon teams up with Marty Janetty to wrestle Sycho Sid and the 1-2-3 Ki, and Big Daddy Cool Diesel takes on Owen Hart.
