Elementary school teachers, explore Numberock’s equally fun teaching resources with a free month of access available for a limited time at Having a growth mindset is having a belief in yourself that you control your ability and you can learn and improve. Hard work, effort, and persistence are all important, but not as important as having that underlying belief that you are in control of your own destiny.

Hey! I gotta shape And I want to transform it geometrically But wait! When transforming that shape There's a few options that are available to me Because I could... Rotate - turn it 'round Translate - shift it left, right, up, or down Reflect - copy it across an axis of symmetry Hey! I gotta shape It looks great but I want to tesselate it That's where, that shape It fills up a flat space completely With no overlaps or gaps Rotate - turn it 'round Translate - shift it left, right, up, or down Reflect - copy it across an axis of symmetry ----- Song and video by Colin Dodds
